COLUMBIA, S.C. (CSU) — According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, three teenagers have been arrested following a crime spree that began on Sunday.

“For some reason, these subjects believed there would be no consequences no matter what they did,” the sheriff continued. “They’re going to make a discovery.”

According to Sheriff Ravenell, a 17-year-old has been charged with armed robbery and attempted carjacking in two separate incidents that occurred on Sunday. Authorities have accused a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The three suspects are suspected of preying on motorists while driving a stolen vehicle, according to investigators.
