At a nighttime shooting in apartments on Lafayette’s southwest side, two people were killed and four more were injured.
LAFAYETTE, Indiana (CSU) – Two people were killed and four others were injured in a gunfight early Sunday inside the Romney Meadows Apartment complex, according to Lafayette police.
Romney Meadows is located on Lafayette’s southwest side, at the southeast corner of US 231 and Indiana 25.
The homicides are the first in the area since August 31, 2021, when two people were killed near Romney Meadows.
As of 10:45 a.m. Sunday, police have not released any additional information.
