INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — After a gunshot early Thursday morning on Indianapolis’ near northeast side, one person was killed.
Just before 3 a.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were sent to the 2900 block of North Sherman Drive, south of East 30th Street, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they discovered a corpse that had been proclaimed dead.
At this moment, police have not revealed any information on a suspect or a suspected motive.
