New York: Local media claimed that at least 16 people were hurt in a shooting at a subway station in New York. The event happened in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, near the 36th Street Station. People were seen treating to wounded passengers on the floor station in a picture taken at the site.
The event prompted a big police reaction, and the culprit was still on the loose many hours later. At this moment, there are no live explosive devices at the subway station, according to New York police.
First responders were on the site, according to New York governor Kathy Hochul, who promised frequent updates as the investigation progressed.
