3 Dead, 40 Weapons Stolen After Robbery at Georgia Shooting Range

Three persons were slain and 40 weapons were taken during a heist at a Georgia shooting range.

(CSU) On Friday evening, three individuals were slain at a Georgia shooting range, leading police to launch an inquiry.

Grantville police arrived to the Lock Stock & Barrel Shooting Range at 8 p.m., where they found the owner, his wife, and their grandson dead. The range was also stolen of “approximately 40 weapons” and a digital camera, according to the Grantville Police Department on Facebook.

To investigate the event and the theft of the firearms, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) were called in. The Coweta County Sheriff’s Department is also aiding, according to Grantville Police.

Authorities are now seeking information from anybody who may have seen a strange automobile on Friday evening at the shooting range.

“Please share,” the FBI said on Facebook, “in the hopes that someone may recall anything that will aid the investigation.”
