Police are investigating the death of a man in North Richmond who was probably shot by gunshots Tuesday night.
Officers were sent to the 2900 block of Hanes Avenue at 7:09 p.m. for reports of a gunshot. Richmond police arrived on the scene to find an adult guy down and unresponsive in the alley with an apparent gunshot wound. At the spot, he was declared dead.
The method and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner’s office.
