Police Investigating After Thief Runs Away with Camera from Oakville Store

After stealing a camera from an Oakville business, police are investigating. Following the theft of items from an Oakville photography business on March 31, Halton police are hunting for one suspect.

A guy entered Henry’s photography shop at 2500 Hyde Park Gate at 6 p.m. and demanded to examine a Sony Alpha camera and a Sony FE 200-600mm lens, according to police. The employee and the suspect apparently proceeded outside for a camera demonstration, but once the suspect had the camera and lens in his hands, he fled.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his 30s, and standing between five and six feet tall.

He was dressed in a black helmet, mask, jacket, and trousers.
