Man Shot, Killed Outside Busy Buckhead Bars, Police Say

ATLANTA, GA — When those involved in a brawl inside a Buckhead bar were ejected out, the conflict spilled outdoors, according to Atlanta Police. That’s when things turned to gunshots, and a man in his twenties was slain early Sunday.

Around 2:40 a.m., it happened outside, hiding Kitchen and Cocktails on Roswell Road. This occurs near a number of late-night venues, including Lost Dog Tavern and Red Door Tavern.

According to reports, the man was shot in the head. Although no suspect has been apprehended, police have indicated they are checking surveillance video and speaking with a witness. They’re pleading with others to come forward as well.

This isn’t the first time the cops have been called to this location. Kenon Jennings, 31, was shot and died at the lounge in August. A similar incident occurred outside the lounge in May of 2021, when a lady was shot in the leg after a quarrel broke out.
