Las Vegas Police in Ongoing 'barricade Situation'

CSU/LAS VEGAS – On Thursday night, Las Vegas police warned residents to stay away from an apartment building near Palace Station where officers were “handling a barricade issue.”

Off of Kings Way and Teddy Drive, officers were stationed in the 2600 block of Wyandotte Street. The event, which was first reported as a gunshot, looks to be connected to domestic violence, according to police.

“This is a developing issue,” authorities stated, adding that “additional details will be given as they become available.”

The public has been requested to stay away from the area while the scenario unfolds.
