Homicide Investigation Underway After Man Found Dead in Aurora Field

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — According to the Aurora Police Department, a man was discovered deceased in a field near Aurora on Friday morning, prompting homicide investigators to investigate.

Around 7:15 a.m., police received a complaint regarding a person down between East 56th Avenue and E-470. When authorities arrived, they discovered a male deceased in a field off the road, according to police.

The victim’s identity has yet to be revealed.

The death of the guy is being investigated as a homicide, according to police. There was no immediate suspect information provided.
