Woman Injured in Shooting Fort Worth Police Say May Have Happened in Another City

A woman was shot and wounded. According to Fort Worth police, the incident may have occurred in another city.

A lady was wounded Tuesday night in the vicinity of 1100 Jones Street and is in severe condition, according to Fort Worth police. Officers discovered the lady, who has not been named, in a bad condition after responding to a gunshot complaint near the intersection of East 8th Street and Jones Street at 7:50 p.m., police said.

The lady was discovered less than two streets away, close to the central train station. According to authorities, investigators found that the incident occurred at a different place, maybe in another city. The police agency did not specify which other area they think the shooting occurred. The incident has been assigned to gun violence investigators, and the investigation is still underway, according to police. They didn’t specify whether any suspects had been identified by detectives.
