Man, Woman Found Shot on Indy's Southeast Side

(CSU) INDIANAPOLIS — A man and a woman were found shot early Sunday morning on the city’s southeast side, prompting an investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

At before 3:30 a.m., IMPD officers were dispatched to South Linwood Avenue to investigate a report of a person shot. That’s just west of Thomas Carr Howe High School, near East Pleasant Run Parkway North and South Drives.

Officers came to find a man who had been shot inside a vehicle. Officers discovered another individual with serious injuries a short time later.

According to IMPD, authorities discovered a woman nearby who had been shot not long after discovering the two guys.

The three patients were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover completely.

No suspects have been found, and the inquiry is still underway.
