Memorial Held for Restaurant Worker Killed by A Former Employee

A personal tribute was held a day after a former coworker shot and killed one of their employees in a Fort Lauderdale restaurant.

On Wednesday morning, several people were seen heading into Shooter’s Waterfront near Fort Lauderdale, looking distressed and heartbroken.

A light pole outside the restaurant was covered in photos and handwritten messages to commemorate the dead.

The shooter, 33-year-old Angel Candelaria, showed up at the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon, according to the police in Fort Lauderdale. At Broward Health Medical Center, the man later died due to his injuries.

The reason for the shooting death is still a mystery.

Candelaria was found on the fifth floor of a parking garage near Federal Highway & Commercial Boulevard after a lengthy search that lasted many hours.

Candelaria has been charged with murder in the first degree.
