Motorcyclist Dead After Drive-By Shooting Outside N. Harris County Restaurant

It’s in Harris County. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say a drive-by shooting outside a north Harris County cafe early Sunday morning left one motorcyclist dead and another badly wounded.

After midnight, a gunman opened fire at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Humble’s 6800 block of FM 1960, just north of Atascosita Road.

According to authorities, two guys had exited the restaurant and were standing in the parking lot near their bikes.

According to deputies, two males were shot at least six times by a motorist in a grey Dodge pickup truck as they walked down the street.

The two men were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of them, a man in his 40s, eventually died. One of the two victims, a man in his early 20s, is currently in serious condition.

A member of a local motorcycle club was one of the victims, according to HCSO Homicide Unit Sgt. Ben Beall believes the deaths may have to do with continuing activities inside the club.

Sheriff’s deputies withheld both victims‘ identities.

Several vehicles were also hit by gunfire, but no one was hurt.

Authorities are still searching for CCTV footage to use in their investigation.
