After discovering marijuana and THC products during a traffic stop in late January, Plainview Police arrested five people, including one youngster.

After finding the vehicle speeding in the 700 blocks of W. 24th, officers initiated the stop at Allsup’s, 1307 W. 24th St. Officers noticed an odour of marijuana during the stop and discovered some as well as THC items during a search of the vehicle.

Anthony Balderas, Pete Rojas, and Ryan Holmes, all 21 years old; Jocelynn Reyes, 18; and a 16-year-old juvenile were all arrested. Each person was charged with felonies for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, as well as possessing a controlled substance.

Rojas was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance in a detention institution, Holmes was charged with a speeding warrant, and Reyes was charged with failure to identify.

The arrests and traffic stops took place on January 23.
