1883 Season 1 Episode 10 (finale) Video Sam Elliott Sets the Stage & More (1200 × 800 px)

10th episode of Season 1 of 1883 (finale), Sam Elliott sets the tone in this video, and there’s a lot more.

Isn’t there a lot to look forward to as you prepare for the 1883 season 1 finale on Paramount+ this weekend? We know there are lots of reasons to be terrified of a variety of things if nothing else.

The fate of Elsa Dutton, whose life has been on the line since she was shot by that arrow, is clearly the most important narrative heading into episode 10. Although we know she’s technically still breathing, James and others are preparing for the worst.

You’re probably going to be disappointed if you were hoping for a few huge revelations from star Sam Elliot today. In a new Today Show interview, he does look ahead to the future and discusses his character Shea! He discusses his work in Westerns and beyond, and he comes out as a man who is very conscious of not only who he is but also where he fits into the larger entertainment scene. It’s wonderful to be recognized for something, whether it’s his voice, mustache, or some of his performances.

It goes without saying, but we hope Shea remains a prominent character for the rest of the season and doesn’t leave anytime soon. Unfortunately, the brutal reality that lies within a show like this is the all-too-familiar fact that anyone can die at any time, and you must be prepared for it. We’re certainly the most concerned about Elsa’s appearance in this upcoming episode, but we’re not going to pretend that we’re unconcerned about the rest of the cast. If we spend so much time looking one way only to have Taylor Sheridan pull the rug out from under us, that would be the ultimate bait-and-switch.

On the 1883 season 1 finale, what do you most want to see from Shea?
