On the same day that the Department of Labor reported that the United States is experiencing its biggest inflation rate increase in four decades, President Joe Biden praised a decline in jobless claims and an increase in pay for American workers.
It’s encouraging to see lesser numbers of claims and greater wages for American workers, he added in a statement.
President Obama noted that the jobless claims are a measure of how much progress has been achieved in the last year in bringing people back to work.
