Eugene Levy is the “Thrill Driver” In Nissan’s Super Bowl campaign

When actress Brie Larson arrives in a hot canary yellow Nissan and asks Eugene Levy if he wants to take it for a spin, he says, “coffee is enough excitement for me.”

She hands him the keys and says, “Come on,” and he drives away, becoming a more excellent, edgier version of himself with each passing scene.

First, Levy flies by Schitt’s Creek co-star Catherine O’Hara, wearing dark sunglasses. “What the–?” she screams. He then chuckles as he drives by Danai Gurira and Dave Bautista, drinking coffee outside at an outdoor cafe. “Wait, is that…Eugene Levy?” Gurira inquires.

Suddenly, a long-haired Levy is racing in his Nissan to rescue Bautista, who is fleeing an explosion on the back of a motorcycle. Levy does a donut and says, “Well, cock-a-doodle-doo,” before zooming off a building roof to save Bautista.

The commercial concludes with a cool Levy walking out of a movie premiere with Larson by his side. Larson says, “I’ll drive,” as they take off in a Nissan SUV.

The commercial, which TBWAChiatDay NY created, will air during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LVI on February 13.
