Chris and Alyssa’s marriage seems to be crumbling in the upcoming episode of Married at First Sight Season 14. Following a less-than-spectacular wedding, the couple goes off to Puerto Rico for their honeymoon. Unfortunately, more time together does not seem to light any flames between the couple, who some fans feel will not make it to Decision Day.

‘Married at First Sight’ stars Alyssa and Chris didn’t spend their wedding night together.

Chris, a real estate salesperson, and Alyssa, who runs a dog rescue, said “I do” in the Jan. 19 episode of Married at First Sight Season 14. However, the couple’s relationship was doomed from the start.

Chris didn’t pique Alyssa’s interest physically, and she was disappointed when he attempted to chat to her about his interests, which included disc golf. Things grew worse when she spoke to his acquaintances, who said he could be “condescending” and “overbearing” at times. Chris called his new wife “gorgeous,” but one of Alyssa’s pals said he was “far out of her comfort zone.”

The newlywed couple returned to the hotel after the celebration. Alyssa, on the other hand, left her husband in the hallway while she chatted with a producer off-camera, claiming that she couldn’t sleep in the same bed with him. They end up spending their wedding night separately.

On their honeymoon, Alyssa and Chris’ situation does not improve.

While Alyssa and Chris had a difficult start, it seemed like things would improve as they spent their honeymoon getting to know each other better. However, this does not seem to be the case.

“I don’t believe I feel comfortable being in the same room with someone I don’t know very well,” she says in a trailer for the upcoming episode of Married at First Sight Season 14, which airs on Jan. 26 (via Twitter).

She recalls, “He simply rubbed me the wrong way.”

Chris believes Alyssa isn’t giving him a fair shot.

Chris becomes irritated by Alyssa’s apparent inability to give him a fair chance.

During a heated confrontation on their hotel room balcony, he tells the lady the Married at First Sight experts paired him with, “There was never a time in this process when you put forth an effort.” That’s “not true,” she says.

He responds, “I suppose you came into this expecting the ideal person.” “And you said, ‘I’m done,’ when you got someone who wasn’t.” ‘I’m not even going to take a single step.’

She responds, “No, I don’t anticipate the ideal person.” “No, that isn’t the case.”

In a frank interview, Chris reveals, “She informed me that we simply didn’t connect.” “I’m taken aback.”

Married at First Sight Season 14 airs new episodes every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
