Teen ‘lucky to be alive’ after knife attack in supermarket carpark in Finsbury Park

After being stabbed in a supermarket parking lot in Finsbury Park, a 15-year-old kid is “very fortunate to be alive.” On Monday at 4.32 pm, police were alerted to a disturbance involving a group of persons in the Sainsbury’s carpark on Williamson Road, N4.

The London Ambulance Service found a teenager with severe injuries and sent him to a hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition. A 14-year-old kid has been charged with attempted murder and robbery. He is still being held.

Officers are asking anybody who saw the incident to come forward. “This was a brutal assault in the midst of a crowded supermarket carpark,” said detective inspector Paul Ridley, who is conducting the inquiry.

“The little victim is extraordinarily fortunate to have survived.” “I know there were a lot of individuals in the neighborhood at the time, and I need these people to come forward to my investigative team.

“I urgently need to hear from you if you observed the incident or have any dashcam film that may have caught the events.” I guarantee that all information will be used.”
