However, not every model in the iPhone 14 lineup will see a price increase. The regular Apple iPhone 14 will cost $799, according to one report. That is the same pricing as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 when they were first released. Maintaining price parity makes sense because Apple will undoubtedly want to maintain the iOS ecosystem’s buy-in cost as low as feasible.
Price hikes are expected for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max, according to LeaksApplePro. According to the leaker, the Pro model will cost $1,099, and the Pro Max will cost $1,199. When compared to their iPhone 13 equivalents, this is a $100 price increase. This hefty price increase will undoubtedly hurt the checkbook of anyone trying to get their hands on the iPhone 14’s most powerful variant.

The iPhone 14 isn’t expected to be officially introduced until September this year, so Apple has plenty of time to modify its price approach.
According to this rumor, Apple will drop the small form of the iPhone 14 in favor of a larger iPhone 14 Max with an $899 launch price. Apple was rumored to be considering dropping the iPhone 13 mini after weak sales of the iPhone 12 mini. As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising if the tiny model was replaced by the iPhone 14 Max, which could be more attractive.
While there’s reason to believe this tip is genuine, it should also be viewed with a fair dosage of skepticism. Pricing information this close to a product’s release is notoriously unreliable, and LeaksApplePro’s track record isn’t exactly stellar. However, given that the leaker has been correct in the past and that production issues are affecting practically every industry, it’s reasonable to assume that Apple will be compelled to raise the price of the iPhone 14 to offset rising costs.

A design mockup was recently leaked, indicating that the smartphone will have a pill-shaped camera cutout instead of the controversial notch.
