One Dead After Fiery Head-on Crash

One Dead After Fiery Head-on Crash

A person was killed in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon. The road will be shut down for hours because the car caught on fire, and it is hard to see what happened.

Chris Chin is the deputy chief of the Forest Park police. He said that a box truck and sedan crashed head-on on Desplaines Avenue near Greenburg Road at 4 p.m. The car caught on fire, but there was no one inside.

The driver and sole occupant of the box truck were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Desplaines Avenue was closed for a few hours. WESTAF, a team from the police department, was investigating an accident. They were looking at the car that crashed into another car. It looks like the person driving the other car crossed over to their side of the road before they crashed into it.

A person died in the crash, but they were not identified. The police are investigating the accident. If you are aware of the crash, please call 708-366-2425 or email [email protected]
