SUTTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Police have confirmed that a man died in an accident. He was driving on the road when he had a crash with another car.
A car crashed into a semi-truck on Wednesday morning. There was an injury and death. The police were called at 7:50 am on Interstate 79, mile marker 81-mile.
The person who died was a 35-year-old man named Donte Pierre Arthur Lewis Mapp Jr. He was A driver of the SUV that crashed.
Two other people from the SUV were put in the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. A driver of a big truck was also taken to the hospital. They were hurt but not in danger.
The police are investigating this incident. We will let you know when we have more information.
