Police found a dead body on Saturday morning in the back of a parking lot. The person was shot in Highlands Ranch. Police also found another person near Park Central Drive and Lucent Boulevard.
The crime scene where the person was killed is near UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital, several shops and restaurants, and apartments on Lucent Boulevard.
The police found the suspect who shot someone at around 4:10 p.m. The suspect killed himself after the shooting. The suspect has been found dead, said Captain Darren Weekly. We think he died by his own hands.
A homicide victim and a suspect were known to each other, Weekly said. The investigation is still going on.
