MUNCIE, Ind. — A man who sexually abused a girl will go to prison for up to 30 years if he follows the agreement. Kyle Burnum, 33, was arrested in May. He is accused of hurting a child.
According to an affidavit, the accused admitted touching the accuser and showing him his private parts.
The agreement with prosecutors said that Burnum would plead guilty to two counts of child molesting. One of these is a Level 1 felony and carries up to 40 years in prison. The other count is a Level 4 felony with up to 12 years in prison.
The deal will also solve another problem in Muncie. The case is in Delaware Circuit Court 5, and the judge there is Thomas Cannon Jr.
