KENNEWICK, Wash. —An explosion happened in a house, and a 65-year-old woman was killed. We think the explosion happened on Monday night.
The fire happened around 6:16 p.m. on Monday night at 228 N Quincy St. The house is near Canal St. in Kennewick, Washington. The Kennewick Fire Department thinks that an explosion might have started the fire inside the house.
The residential fire at 228 N Quincy is out. Crews will be on scene for an extended period of time.

Firefighters found a 65-year-old woman dead in her house. The woman’s name has not been released yet.
The explosion and fire happened in a home when there were no people around. Investigators are looking for the cause of the explosion and fire.
