A man has been arrested after the father and daughter were found dead. They were stabbed. The police and paramedics were called to Mayes Road. The call came in on Sunday at 9:30 am. The father was 61 years old, and his daughter was 31. The two were found unresponsive with stab wounds. They died at the scene.
A 52-year-old man was arrested because he was suspected of murder. He is not allowed to leave jail while the police investigate. Detective Chief Inspector Claire Hine is in charge of the investigation. She is helping the family after they lost a loved one. She said that this incident had taken the lives of a father and daughter.
