Police are investigating the death of Deshawn Mc Clean.
Initial reports say that a man was shot and killed on Saturday night at Lodge Road in Claxton Bay. Newsday visited the area on Sunday. A resident said they knew Mc Clean lived near where he was killed.
Messages that say that Mc Clean was a scrap iron dealer are not true. Mc Clean was the President of the Scrap Iron Dealers Association. Fergusson said that Mc Clean worked with several scrap iron dealers, but he did not own a yard.
This means the association is against violence and especially violence against people who work in the scrap iron industry.
