NORTH PORT, Fla. (CSU) — A woman who was 103 years old has died after a three-vehicle accident on US-41 and Ortiz Boulevard.
A wreck happened when two people tried to turn to Ortiz Street. One person was 103 years old, and the other was 68 years old. A man tried to drive past the women when they were turning. The car hit them, and his own car crashed into another driver’s stopped at a red light.
Two women were injured. One was 103 years old and died that day because of the injuries.
A woman from North Port is not well. She has been injured, and she is still in critical condition. It happened on Sunday morning.
Investigators are still looking into the crash.
