One Killed, Two Injured In Triple Shooting In Northwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE – Detectives from the Homicide Unit of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating a murder near Harland Street.

On Nov 28, 2021, at 5:00 a.m., officers responded to a call for help near the 1700 block of Harland Street. They found someone who was killed with an apparent gunshot wound. Two other people were hurt and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The homicide unit detectives arrived at the scene to investigate. Crime Scene Search came to take care of the house and collect evidence. Representatives from the county district attorney’s office, Mecklenburg County Police Department, Victim Services, Crime Stoppers, CFD, and Medic also helped out.

The investigation into this case is still going on. As we find new information, we will share it with the public.
