The police in Aurora said that five people were shot. They are between the ages of 16 and 20 years old. The shootings happened near North Dayton Street and East Colfax Avenue.
Police said they were called at midnight to a shooting. They found two people who had been shot. The police responded to the shooting. They found a group of people leaving. The press release said that it might have been a party at 9709 East Colfax Ave.
Police said that the officers at the scene used a first aid kit on one of the victims and a tourniquet on another victim. Both men were taken to the hospital. While the police were securing the area, three more people showed up at a hospital and got hurt. The police said they would all live.
Investigators are asking people who know about this case to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. They can remain anonymous and get a reward up to $2,000.
