One killed in I-485 Wreck in South Charlotte, Highway Patrol says (1)

CHARLOTTE — A car crash happened in south Charlotte. One person died. It was early Thursday morning. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol says this.

There was a car wreck on the Outer Loop of Interstate 485. The car in the wreck had crashed into a nearby pole, and that caused a power outage in that area. The paramedic said that two people went to the hospital with minor injuries.

The accident is still being looked at.
