Man Shot, Killed in Fight at Battle Creek bar (1)

BATTLE CREEK, MI – Police are looking into it after someone was shot in a bar. This happened early in the morning on November 25th.

Around 12:05 a.m., police were called to the Cricket Club, 36 W. Michigan Ave., because of a fight between customers and staff at the bar. During a fight, someone fired two shots from a gun. The shot hit a man who was 29 years old.

The victim died from his injuries. The police said the man died at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Officers took the person who shot people into custody to be interviewed by detectives at the Battle Creek Police Department.

The police are still investigating.
