LAKEWOOD, Ohio — A woman was hit by a truck at a busy intersection. This woman has been identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
Karen Mack, 57 years old from Cleveland, died in an incident at 4 o’clock. It happened at the intersection of West 117th Street and Clifton Boulevard.
The police got calls that a woman was lying in the street. The truck hit her when she was crossing the street. The police got there and found out what had happened.
The paramedics said she was dead when they got to the scene of the accident.
The driver of the truck was thereafter it happened. Police said he stayed at the scene.
Lakewood police did not say who was at fault in the crash where someone died. The crash is still being investigated.
