Two Die in Car Crash on Sterling Highway

Sterling, Alaska (CSU) – On Saturday, there was a car crash. Two people died. One person was hurt. A van that was not used for business crossed into the traffic coming from the opposite way.

According to the police, a van hit a car from behind and then crashed into another car head-on. The driver of the van, 55-year-old Fedos Martushoff from Sterling, and the driver of the second vehicle, 26-year-old Matthew Shull from Seward, were both killed at the scene.

The people in the second car were taken to a different city, and they are expected to survive.

There were no other injuries.

The people who are close to the person who died have been told about what happened.
