The police have found the man who was shot by them. His name is Brent Lee Boggess, and he was 42 years old. Officials also told me that the officer who shot the person was Ken Schaaf. I read this in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.
On Tuesday, a man was driving recklessly and hit an officer’s car. Police chased the car. Other police joined the chase. The shooting happened at that time.
Boggess didn’t want to get out of the car. Instead, he crashed his car into a police car and then was shot and killed by Schaaf.
Schaaf is on leave until the investigation into her case is finished.
