Last night, some people felt a shaking. That was likely because Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello broke up. They announced the breakup on Instagram.
“Hey, guys. We have decided to end our relationship but not the love we have for one another.” The post on their Instagram stories said. “We started as best friends, and that is how we will continue to be. We appreciate the support that you have given us from the beginning.”
The singers (or artists) were together for two years. They celebrated their anniversary in July. Rumors started after they did the song “Señorita” in 2019. Then they gave us some more evidence of them being together, like when they took regular walks or when this happened.
What will happen to these two people? Maybe they’ll write a song about their breakup. They say they’re still friends, but I wonder who writes the statements.
The PR team helps a lot with the statement for a couple that is as famous as Cabello and Mendes. That’s why celebrity break-up announcements always sound so similar.
We feel sad for Shawn and Camilla fans. It is not good news.
