Woman Charged in Fawn Fire Found Incompetent for Trial (1)

REDDING, Calif. — A woman who is accused of starting a really bad fire in California has been found not guilty. She is now being checked by two doctors to make sure she can’t do anything bad again.

A judge ordered that Alexandra Souverneva be evaluated. She is someone who has been charged with a crime, and she needs help. This will happen outside of the courtroom.

That evaluation will be reviewed in court on Dec. 9th. Authorities believe that the 31-year-old set the Fawn Fire in September near Shasta Lake.
