MORRISVILLE, N.C. (CSU) – One person died, and four others were injured in a serious crash early Sunday morning.

Morrisville Police responded to a call at 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning and they were on the 1300 block of Morrisville Parkway near Duck Pond Circle.

When the Morrisville police came to the scene, they found that two people had been ejected from the car. One of them was Jonathan Pooley. He died at the scene. The other person is in critical condition, and we do not know their identity yet.

An officer said that the driver, a 17-year-old girl, had lost control of the car. The car crossed the median and then rolled over many times before it stopped. Police say that everyone in the car was 17 or 18 years old. Two other people were badly hurt.

Police said that the driver was wearing her seatbelt. The police said that the car was driving really fast, and they thought alcohol was also involved.
