JERSEY CITY, NJ – A 41-year-old man from Jersey City was shot and killed on Saturday morning.
The Jersey City Police Department responded to gunshots in the area of Grant Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive. The police found a man who had been shot in the stomach.
A man identified as Ishamell McCany was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center. He was declared dead at 4:20 am.
The people who work for the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the case. They are working with Jersey City Police Department and ask anyone who has information about this case to call 201-915-1345.
