Five police officers have been hurt after a car drove at one of them on foot. There was an issue in the Bridge Street area before 2 AM on Tuesday, when the officer was targeted.
He got an injury to his hand and arm. He is pretty scared. Four officers also got minor injuries. A lot of damage was done to both police cars.
The BMW car drove at the officer and then crashed into one of their cars. The BMW car reversed into another police car that was positioned to block the BMW in.
A man has been arrested for trying to do serious harm and drinking too much. He also drove too fast and was dangerous.
