Denmark, Lewis Co. — A woman died after a car crash in Lewis County. Around 10:37 p.m., the police came to a crash where a car rolled over. The State Police came from the town of Denmark.
Emily Ashline, age 31, was driving a car when she lost control of a curve. The car went into the other lane. Ashline hit a barbed wire fence and some wood posts. Then it drove into the other lane. It went down an earth embankment and then crashed on its roof near the Deer River.
Ashline died at the scene. A 34-year-old person was taken to Lewis County General Hospital, where she was treated and released.
The police are still investigating.
