Homicide Investigation Underway in Southeast Portland's Centennial Neighborhood (1)

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland police are investigating a murder in the Centennial neighborhood.

Police were called to check on someone in the 2300 block of Southeast 148th Avenue. They were called after reports that someone was down in the street.

When the police came, they found that the person had died. Police found a car that crashed. They say it looks like someone hit the car and ran away. The Oregon State Medical Examiner‘s office found that the victim had not been hit by a car.

The Portland Police Bureau Homicide Division responds to investigate the crime. The cause of death is determined by a doctor.
