The filming for the Sweet Magnolias Season 2 has already been done. But we do not know when it will be on Netflix. It might be delayed because of COVID-19, which is a virus that makes people sick and can kill them if they get too sick.
In 2020, the writer of Sweet Magnolias said that they were excited to begin work on season two. They hope that nothing will stop them from filming in Georgia in 2021. Stay tuned for more news!
However, the present situation has changed. Netflix has not declared when Sweet Magnolias Season 2 will come out. But according to Deadline, it will be sometime in 2022.
The showrunner Sheryl Anderson told Parade, “I can’t answer that right now because we still don’t know what precaution we will need to take. That could also change how fast we can create the show. We won’t be able to give a release date or trailer until we know what will happen.”

In the second season of Sweet Magnolias, we will find out who was in the car with Kyle after their after-prom party. So far, we have seen Kyle become unconscious and injured in a car crash. We do not yet know who this person is or if they are going to be a good or bad person.

Anderson is going to answer all the questions you have about the car crash and Issac’s parents, Maddie and Coach Cal. But they are also going to ask new questions too.
