Police Appeal for Public Help Locating Gunman on Loose in Melbourne

Someone is on the loose with a gun in Boronia. The police need your help finding them. The man, Brendan Searle, shot at policemen on Saturday morning after he got into an argument with security at the Boronia Hotel.

The police say the man was ejected from the hotel around 1 am. Then he tried to carjack someone, but that person called the police.

Police officers saw Mr. Searle and chased him. He fired on the police, and they went to cover. Now he is still running away, and we are searching for him. Today Early morning, a man with a gun knocked on the door of a home and asked the person inside to call him a cab.

The man living in the house told the police that he did not see who had done it. A vacant home was later surrounded by officers for four hours before they smashed their way in.

The house was found to be empty.

Detective Inspector Martin Allison said that he is worried about the safety of everyone if this person does not end up in the custody of the police. Mr. Searle is a man who has fair skin and is 183cm tall.

He has tattoos on his head. He is balding, and he has tattoos around his neck. Police think Mr. Searle is still in the Boronia area. He jumped over fences to get away. But they are searching his area right now. That search might be expanded in the coming hours.
