White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki Tests Positive for Covid-19

Jen Psaki, the press Secretary for THE WHITE HOUSE, has contracted Covid-19. She has mild symptoms.

Psaki said she was last in connection with President Joe Biden on Tuesday. The last time she saw him, she was wearing a mask, and they were more than six feet apart.

Biden is tested often and last tested negative on Saturday. His tests come out negative most of the time.

Psaki did not travel with Biden to Rome this weekend for the G20 summit. She also did not travel on Monday to Glasgow for the UN Cop26 climate summit.

Jen Psaki was going to travel with the President, but she canceled her plan when she found out that people in her household had tested positive for Covid-19.

Since then, I have tested and found out that I do not have COVID.

“Today, I tested positive for Covid,” Psaki said she is only showing mild symptoms.

“I have not had anyone contact with the President or the White House staff for four days. I am telling you that I tested positive today because this is an example of me being transparent.”

People who travel with the President to other places are checked for Covid-19 before they leave. They were vaccinated before they left, and they will check them for Covid-19 every day. People who work with other people close by or travel a lot get booster shots because of the environment.

Biden took his Covid-19 booster on September 27, right after the federal government approved the third dose of Covid-19 for many Americans.

Joe Biden has been going on a trip with Karine Jean-Pierre. She is the deputy press secretary. Psaki said she would return to work in person after her 10-day quarantine was over. She will also pass a rapid test.
