Disney announced that they are changing the release date for Indiana Jones 5. The new release date is June 30, 2023. When the “Indiana Jones” sequel comes out, it will have been released when Harrison Ford is close to being 82.

Ford is old. He is in the movie “Indiana Jones.” The Indiana Jones movie has been a joke for years. There are lots of jokes about it. Lots of people want to see it, but they can’t because there are not five movies yet. Ford was 65 years old when the fourth “Indy” film came out. He was not young anymore. Some people thought he would be replaced by a younger actor. But he said no, and they made the fifth movie instead.

And yet, depiction from the set of “Indiana Jones 5” shows that Harrison Ford can still do a good job in the role of Indiana Jones. The actor has been saying he is eager to come back in this movie.

Steven, the director of the first four Indiana Jones movies, was supposed to be the director of Indiana Jones 5. But after delays in release, he stepped back and is now only the producer. James Mangold will direct instead.

Production for “Indiana Jones 5” started in June. Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen joined the cast with Harrison Ford. Disney has pushed the release date back to make it close to Harrison Ford’s birthday.

And yet, in 1981, when Ford was 38 years old and played Indian Jones for the 1st time in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” he said that it’s not how much time you have. It’s how much you do.
