“Trini Ross’s confirmation is good. She is kind and smart. The Western District of New York will be safe with her.” As I have said many times, Trini is a Western New Yorker. She has roots here in this area. And she knows what it is like to live here as a woman of color. She knows what the community needs from its United States Attorney, too.

Ms. Ross is the Director of Investigations with the National Science Foundation’s Office of Inspector General, and she teaches law at State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. From 1995 to 2018, Ms. Ross was a lawyer for the Western District of New York. She served as Senior Litigation Counsel and the Chief of Anti-Fraud and Corruption Section from 2012 to 2017.

During those years, she also operates as an Assistant Counsel with the Department of Justice’s Office of Professional Responsibility from 2007 to. Ms. Ross has been a lawyer for a long time. She used to work on civil cases. She also worked in the Appellate Court from 1992-1994, and she went to SUNY Buffalo to get her J.D., which is something you need to be a lawyer, in 1992.
