WASHINGTON, Sept 29 (CSU World Record) – YouTube will completely delete all anti-vaccine information, extending its prohibition on fraudulent information about COVID vaccines to material that contains misinformation about other authorized immunizations. According To a News on Wednesday, the video-sharing website will ban all anti-vaccine content.

According to YouTube’s rules, content that isn’t allowed includes claims that the flu vaccine causes infertility and that the MMR vaccination, which prevents measles, mumps, and rubella, might induce autism.

Several prominent anti-vaccine activists, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Joseph Mercola, are being banned from Google’s video platform YouTube after the internet firm owned by Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) announced the decision on Monday morning. The ban includes channels that have been affiliated with them in the past, according to a YouTube spokesperson.

“We are one people, across the world. We will not live in panic; we will stand together and reclaim our liberties,” a press email for Mercola’s website stated. Kennedy did not answer requests for comment.

The measures come as YouTube, and other internet giants like Facebook Inc. (FB.O) and Twitter Inc. (TWTR.N) have been criticized for not doing enough to prevent the propagation of inaccurate health information on their platforms.

Even as YouTube toughens its anti-fraud efforts, the company is facing criticism all over the world. On Tuesday, Google said that three of RT’s German-language channels had broken its COVID-19 misinformation policy and were deleted from the platform.
