A woman is missing. She was traveling and it is believed that she might be in Wyoming. A search is underway to find her. Gabrielle Petito from Blue Point, New York was reported missing on September 11th. Her family says that they were last in contact with her during the last week of August.

Petito was last seen in the Grand Teton National Park on August 25th. He was going to Yellowstone National Park. One person’s daughter, Nicole Schmidt, left for a cross-country trip with her boyfriend. They have been together for two years. The daughter left on July 2nd from Blue Point, New York.

She wanted to cross the country in a camper van. She wants to live free. This is her dream. Petito’s parents said the couple took pictures of everything they did, like in Colorado and southern Utah. The person says, “You can find a lot of evidence of where they were these past few months on her Instagram page.” But at the end of August, people were not posting.

A woman named Petito and her boyfriend were traveling in a white 2012 Ford Transit van. It has been found in Florida. The Suffolk County Police Department would not tell the name of the boyfriend or where he is. They do not comment on suspects or persons of interest, but nobody has been arrested yet.

North Port police are investigating the case too. Police say, “We don’t know if a crime took place here in North Port.” The vehicle she was driving was found here in North Port. The FBI Tampa Field Office is working with the investigation.

Gabby’s father, Joseph Petito, lives in Florida and posted on Facebook to find his daughter.

Petito is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She also has a tattoo on her finger that says “let it be” and one on her arm that says “let it be.” Detectives are requesting anyone with information upon Petito’s disappearance to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
